Year 5

Welcome to Year 5!

Year 5 brings even more exciting and purposeful projects for the children and families here at Great Bradfords Junior school. Firstly, in autumn, they will be deciding who is the most influential monarch as they develop their skills as historians, moving on to the spring term when they will be scientists learning about space and creating their own space masterpieces as artists. As designers, they will be exploring how mechanisms work and applying this knowledge in an ultimate farming challenge, before, finally, in the summer term, they will be reflecting on how their actions as citizens impact on the community and the world around us. As you can see, the children are going to be taken on an engaging learning journey, experiencing a fun and enriching curriculum throughout the year.

We are proud to offer a challenging, outstanding and thought-provoking curriculum we know the children will thoroughly enjoy!
