Homework

As explained in our curriculum vision, we provide a curriculum which aims to be purposeful, motivating and inspiring. Homework is part of the curriculum learning process and is valued as a way of embedding knowledge and skills achieved in the classroom, but also for preparing for learning for future lessons. We use various e-learning platforms to provide homework, such as, Times Table Rock Stars and Century (see ‘Software’ section for more details), but, at times, we also make requests for research or project- based homework to be used in lessons. All homework expectations are communicated in an information sheet stuck into your child’s homework book or reading record at the beginning of the year.
